We are currently on the hunt for lots of new videos to show at April 28th’s As We Speak screening in Stereo. As always, there is no theme other than “single screen video”. If you are interested in submitting a video, you can do so in one of two ways. You can either send it to aswespeak@email.com via an online file transfer service (ie. yousendit.com, dropbox.com) or in the post to Flat 4/1, 82 Templeton Street, Glasgow G40 1EE. We would recommend always the file transfer service most as we’ve been known to have problems with lazy posties and things getting lost in the past. However, if you would prefer to submit the old fashioned way, we accept data DVDs, not playable ones, and will not return them to the artist afterwards (sounds harsh, we know, but it’s just how we roll these days).
The deadlines is the 10th of April. Looking forward to seeing wot u got.

Back by popular demand and because we’re not sure what else to do with ourselves on these freakishly cold winter nights (mostly the second thing), As We Speak will be curating another exciting video screening night for HOST in Glasgow’s market gallery.
SO… this Friday evening, pap on another couple of jumpers and head down to market at 334 Duke Street, Dennistoun, and join loads of other people who can’t afford central heating either for some mulled wine and new experimental video goodness.
